Elsternwick

This particular deck posed a challenge due to the presence of an existing curved concrete staircase and brick piers. After designing a CAD model and finalizing the design, we began wrapping the curved stairs in a new timber frame and installing spotted gum decking boards. We meticulously aligned the boards to follow the staircase's radius and the lines leading back to a central point, creating a striking burst effect. Great care was taken to ensure all boards were perfectly aligned, with each board individually cut to fit. Additionally, we curved the front boards by machining them down and carefully attaching them to enhance the classic appearance of this inner-city Melbourne home.
