Project Amsterdam

Project Amsterdam was the complete rebuild of a tired old fence that was well overdue for a facelift. The original fence was fully removed, and after some back-and-forth with the client, the final design came together. We provided a full set of 3D renderings showcasing different styles and practical options, all tailored to suit the budget.

The client chose a painted timber batten design set on a solid steel frame. The steel provides a durable backbone for the fence, while the timber battens soften the look and feel — striking a nice balance between strength and warmth.

This fence isn’t just black. We explored a range of test colours in different lighting before settling on a shade called Billiard Ball. It’s hard to capture in photos, but it has a satin finish with subtle golden tones — quickly becoming a new favourite.

We also installed gate automation for added security and everyday convenience.

The transformation completely changed the look of the property, and it was a pleasure working with clients who had such a sharp eye for detail and colour
